Job summary

Novant-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic x-ray procedures and support patient imaging needs. You will work closely with providers, ensuring accurate positioning, safety and high-quality results across all ages.

You will also maintain patient records, assist with workflow, and participate in ongoing QA. A state license, ARRT certification, and BLS are required or pursued at hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required.
• BLS required at the time of hire.
• ARRT registration required at time of hire.
• State licensure as Radiologic Technologist required at hire, if applicable by state law.
• Clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray procedures to assist in diagnosis for patients of all ages.
• Position patients correctly and ensure radiology safety; apply ALARA principles.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with charting and QA logs.
• Collaborate with providers and medical staff to coordinate patient care.
• Prepare patients, collect history, and document procedures performed.
