Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience as a registered Radiology Technologist.
  • Certified radiologic technology diploma required.

Responsibilities

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center - Opening in 2025! When open in early 2025, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, especially residents of Wards 7 and 8, ensuring access to high-quality care in their community. The hospital will include 136 beds (expandable to 184), a verified trauma center, emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, outpatient services, parking, and a helipad.

We are seeking a Part-Time Radiology Technologist. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of the Imaging Lead or Manager, providing general diagnostic imaging services. Demonstrating radiation safety, maintaining equipment and exam rooms, and performing other duties as assigned are essential.

Minimum Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Certified radiologic technology diploma
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Active ARRT license
  • At least 2 years' experience as a registered Radiology Technologist, with preferred acute care experience
Skills
  • Ability to interpret business and medical information, and communicate effectively
  • Mathematical skills including calculations and graph interpretation
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance
  • Ability to relate well with clinical staff and the public
  • Proficiency with PC applications
