Job summary

HCA Florida Vero Beach Emergency invites applications for a Radiology Technologist. You will perform radiographic procedures using ionizing radiation, following ALARA standards, and administer contrast agents when indicated.

You will regulate imaging equipment, develop and organize x-ray films to support accurate diagnoses. Qualified candidates hold an associate degree, and ARRT-R radiography credentials, with BCLS within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification.
• Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures with ionizing radiation per ALARA standards.
• Administers intravenous diagnostic contrast agents and regulates equipment.
• Develops and organizes radiographic films.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for screening and diagnostic purposesin accordance withALARA standards. Administers intravenous diagnostic contrast agents, regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops and organizes films.
