Job summary

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 380-bed acute-care facility offering interventional and diagnostic cardiovascular services, including open-heart surgery, with a focus on patient care and safety.

We are seeking a Cardiovascular Technician who performs interventional and diagnostic procedures under Cardiologist/RN supervision, ensuring aseptic technique and safe operation of radiographic equipment. ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days; an Associate Degree or equivalent required.

• ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree required; paramedic or radiologic technologist credentials preferred.
• Must obtain listed professional certifications within 30 days.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs Interventional and Diagnostic Cardiovascular Procedures, which may include Pacemaker and AICD Implantations under the direction of the Cardiologist and RN. This includes the safe operation of Cardiovascular and Radiographic equipment. Applies principles and practices of asepsis at all times.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree
• Paramedic, or (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or (RCES) Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
