Qualifications

  • Certification as a radiologic technologist and ARRT registration in radiography required; CT certification preferred or required within 12 months, depending on the market.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience preferred, with at least 1 year in CT and ER experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with imaging hardware/software, PACS, and fluency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS.
  • Assist physicians, nurses, and staff by providing technical support and patient care.
  • Conduct imaging exams following established policies, procedures, and regulations, notifying physicians of results.
  • Perform basic clinical procedures under supervision.
  • Maintain documentation, logs, and records in both paper and electronic formats.
  • Collect laboratory samples, perform lab testing, and ensure quality control and proficiency testing.
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality assessments on imaging equipment.
  • Retain analytic records for at least two years.
  • Support ER duties and travel between facility locations as needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
