Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment (X-Ray, CT, CR reader, PACS).

• Maintain documentation in paper and electronic formats.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and ensure quality control.
• Conduct routine maintenance and record-keeping on imaging equipment for at least two years.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under supervision.
• Provide ER technician duties and travel between facility locations.

Role Overview

This position involves performing a variety of imaging procedures, including CT scans and X-Rays, with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS systems.
• Perform imaging exams in accordance with policies, regulations, and laws, and communicate results to physicians.
• Assist healthcare staff and provide supportive patient care throughout the facility.
• Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and records in both paper and electronic formats.
• Collect laboratory samples, perform lab testing per policies and regulations, and ensure quality control and proficiency testing.
• Conduct routine maintenance and quality assessment activities on imaging equipment, retaining records for at least two years.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under physician or nurse guidance.
• Provide ER technician duties as needed and travel between facility locations.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.
• Certified as a radiologic technologist and registered with ARRT in radiography; CT certification required (or obtained within 12 months, depending on the market).
• Current BLS certification mandated.
• At least 2 years of radiologic/imaging experience; CT and ER experience preferred.
• Proficiency with imaging hardware, software, and PACS; fluency in English required.

Additional Duties

Perform additional tasks as assigned, attend meetings, and ensure supplies are stocked. The role emphasizes providing compassionate, individualized care in a collaborative environment.
