Job summary

Proforma Health is seeking an Imaging Technologist to perform CT and X-ray exams in a small-format hospital setting. You will operate and maintain X-ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS systems, ensuring accurate results and patient comfort.

The role requires ARRT radiography registration, current BLS certification, and at least two years of imaging experience; CT experience is preferred. You will document findings and collaborate with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in Radiology preferred.
  • ARRT registration in radiography required; CT certification preferred or required within specified timeframes.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • At least 2 years of radiologic/imaging experience; CT and ER experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with imaging hardware, software, and PACS; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment including X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS systems.
  • Perform imaging exams following established policies, procedures, and regulations, and notify physicians of results.
  • Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to meet the needs of patients and staff.
  • Maintain documentation, logs, and records in both paper and electronic formats.
  • Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, quality control, proficiency testing, and record-keeping for all imaging and lab activities.
  • Perform clinical procedures under physician or nurse supervision as required.

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform imaging exams following established policies, procedures, and regulations, and notify physicians of results.
  • Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to meet the needs of patients and staff.

Additional Duties:
