Job summary

BayCare Health System in Plant City, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist for part‑time evening shifts (W/Th/F 4PM–11:30 PM) in Diagnostic Imaging‑South Florida Baptist Hospital. You will perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and support imaging services in OR and ED.

Requirements include ARRT Registry eligibility or ARRT within 6 months, Florida radiology license, and a radiology diploma or associate degree.

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• ARRT Registry Eligible; OR ARRT within 6 months.
• Radiology – State of Florida license.
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) or Associates Degree – Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May assist in minor invasive procedures and support operating room and ED imaging.
• Manages RIS data, file room, and general clerical tasks related to imaging.
• Maintains patient care with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management and written/verbal communication skills.
• Utilizes computer systems relevant to the radiology department.

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities:

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months
• Radiology – State of Florida
