Job summary

Desert Valley Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures per department protocols and regulatory requirements. You will be the primary point of contact for imaging needs and participate in PI/QC activities, ensuring accurate processing and transmission of images to PACS.

The role requires CRT and ARRT-R credentials, fluoroscopy permit within 6 months, venipuncture cert within 3 months, and current BCLS.

Qualifications

• CRT certification issued by CDPH
• ARRT-R certification required
• Fluoroscopy permit within 6 months of hire
• Venipuncture certificate within 3 months of hire
• BCLS certification current and maintained
• At least 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience
• Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and regulations.
• Acts as first line interface with customers to address imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/QC activities.
• Processes and transmits images to PACS.

Education

Current CRT issued by CDPH

ARRT-R certification

Fluoroscopy permit (CDPH) within 6 months

Venipuncture certificate within 3 months
