Job summary

Desert Valley Hospital in Southern California seeks a part-time Radiology Technologist to perform imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, and mammography. The role interfaces with patients, assists in PI/QC, and supports the radiology team in the absence of management.

Required licensure, fluoroscopy permit, and national certifications; BCLS required. The position features evening shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• National certifications in two modalities required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound or Special Procedures per department protocols.
• Interfaces with customers and fulfills imaging needs; ensures patient comfort and safety.
• Participates in PI/QC activities and maintains performance improvement efforts.
• Oversees radiology area and staff in Manager/Director absence.
• Maintains department supplies and ensures proper scheduling and PACS transmission.
