Job summary

Desert Valley Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare Foundation, seeks a part-time radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic radiography, CT scans, mammography, bone density, ultrasound and related procedures per department protocols. The role interfaces with patients to ensure high-quality imaging and assists in PI/QC activities.

The candidate must hold licensure and fluoroscopy permits, with at least one year of acute radiography experience, and be proficient with PACS.

Qualifications

• State licensure and fluoroscopy permit required.
• National certifications in two modalities required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• Knowledge of State and Federal regulations.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography experience.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiography, CT, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, or special procedures per dept. protocols.
• Interfaces with customers to address imaging needs and ensure service quality.
• Oversees radiology area or staff in manager/director absence and maintains supplies.
• Transmits images to PACS and participates in PI/QC activities.
