Job summary

Desert Valley Medical Group in Victorville, CA seeks a Radiology Technician II (CT) to join the Radiology Diagnostic department on a per diem basis. You will perform CT and diagnostic imaging, work with physicians and radiologists, and deliver patient-centered care with a focus on safety and efficiency.

This role offers flexible per diem scheduling, opportunity to operate advanced imaging equipment, and the support of a nationally recognized healthcare system within Prime Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation.
• Prepare and educate patients throughout the imaging process while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Process and transmit images through PACS for physician review.
• Assist with quality improvement and quality control initiatives.
• Support scheduling, equipment readiness, and supply management within assigned areas.
• Promote teamwork, customer service excellence, and efficient department operations.
• Assist with departmental oversight in the absence of leadership, as assigned.
