Job summary

Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL seeks a Radiologic Technologist I for evening shifts. You will perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety and image quality.

This role requires ARRT-R, BCLS, and state regulatory compliance, with ongoing education to maintain licensure. Full-time position with 2:00PM–12:00AM shifts, on-site at Riverview Regional Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-R certification is required.
• Familiarity with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures such as radiography, CT, mammography, bone density tests, ultrasound and other exams following protocols.
• Ensure X-ray equipment functions properly and images meet quality standards; perform checks, calibrations, troubleshooting as needed.
• Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns and ensure comfort and safety during X-ray exams.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient information, images and medical history.
• Stay updated on radiologic tech advancements and pursue continuing education to maintain licensure/certification.
• Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images.
• Maintain BCLS (AHA) certification and ARRT registry status.
