Job summary

Ascension Saint Alexius in Hoffman Estates, IL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to position patients, set exposure factors, and administer contrast media. You will monitor patient condition, follow radiation safety guidelines, and ensure high-quality images are sent to PACS with accurate data.

The role requires BLS, IL IEMA radiologic credentials, and ARRT/CClIA/ARRT credentials within 12 months. This position is on-site with rotating shifts and PRN coverage.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed by IEMA before hire.
• Cardiographic Tech credentialed by CCI within 12 months of hire.
• Limited Radiology Technician credentialed by IEMA within 12 months of hire.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist specialty credential within 12 months or temporary ARRT license accepted.

Responsibilities

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required:
• Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Limited Radiology Technician credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted. Temporary ARRT license allowed in lieu of permanent license.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
