Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Competency in the use of safe patient handling equipment.
• One year of clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and facilitates their department experience in Radiology.
• Answers phone calls promptly, identifying self and unit.
• Verifies written orders and notifies physicians of inaccuracies.
• Supports radiologic technologists in planning and performing routine imaging.
• Prepares patients for basic examinations and diagnostic procedures.
• Maintains infection control and a clean, safe environment.
