Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Must possess current Radiography License as required by state board.

Responsibilities

• Rotates in all Diagnostic areas to develop technical skills.
• Performs image procedures based on patient status, service request, and imaging protocols.
• Produces high-quality images using imaging equipment and archiving systems.
• Selects exposure factors based on patient size and condition to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.
• Maintains knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to imaging for patient safety.
• Educates patients regarding radiographic procedures and answers questions.
