Job summary

Jefferson Hospital is seeking a Radiology Tech for weekends and night shifts in the Radiology Department. You will perform imaging procedures and ensure patient safety across all ages during each study.

You will work with staff and contract physicians to meet imaging needs and serve as the primary point of contact for imaging requests. A degree is preferred, RT registration is required, and BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree is preferred but not required.
• Completion of Radiologic Technology Training.
• Advanced CT Certification is preferred but not required.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist RT (R).
• BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures and ensure the safety of neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics; act as the first line interface with customer accounts for imaging needs.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• As a Radiology Tech at Jefferson Hospital, you will be responsible for performance of all imaging procedures and the safety of neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adult and geriatric patients. Functions as the first line interface with customer accounts in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree is preferred but not required
• Successful completion of Radiologic Technology Training
• Advanced CT Certification is preferred but not required
• Registered Radiologic Technologist RT (R)
