Job summary

Jefferson Health Plans is seeking a Radiology Technical Aide to support radiology staff and patients. You will assist with patient check-in, prepare examination rooms, and help with procedures while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include stocking rooms, training transporters, and providing back-up support to front office and film room staff. CPR certification and high school completion are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CPR certification required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients and move supplies safely.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and technologists, provide patient support and comfort.
• Perform patient check-in and prepare for procedures; assist with moving patients and supplies.
• Stock and replenish supplies; maintain clean and ready examination rooms.
• Train transporters/escorts in patient care techniques; support front desk and film room tasks.
