Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Compassionate, positive and upbeat disposition in interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Basic computer and typing skills required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• American Heart Association BLS - State of Pennsylvania within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of support functions to facilitate the delivery of services to radiology patients.
• Delivers a high level of patient care and customer service to promote patient satisfaction.
• Confirms physician orders are complete and includes signature, ordered study, reason for test and obtains missing information prior to treatment.
• Coordinates daily work duties and communicates necessary information.
• Documents LMP, fluoro time, radiologist, history and other required documentation.
• Maintains supplies and equipment to meet patient care requirements.
• Ensures images have crossed into PACS before study is complete.
• Performs registrations as required.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the work area.
