Qualifications

• Technical School Diploma required with accredited Radiography training.
• Less than 1 year completion of radiologic program acceptable.
• Ability to handle confidential medical information ethically.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills relevant to radiology tasks.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and accurate patient positioning.
• American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire (PA).
• RT - Registered Technologist Radiology certification in PA upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic-quality images and prepare them for radiologist review.
• Apply radiation safety guidelines and appropriate exposure factors.
• Verify correct exam orders and attach to patient records.
• Monitor supplies and equipment to meet imaging requirements.
• Document exam details, including history, CPT codes, and times.
• Coordinate daily workflow within the imaging team.
