Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking a dedicated Radiology Aid to support Radiology Technologists in patient positioning and exam preparation. You will ensure that films are prepared for interpretation and that RadNet and PACS workflows run smoothly throughout the shifts.

The role requires effective communication in English, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will work closely with Radiology staff in a fast-paced environment dedicated to patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Enrolled in Radiology Technology program is required/preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiology Technologist with patient positioning.
• Complete exams in RadNet and PACS.
• Assist with equipment and preparing patient films for interpretation.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate room assignments.
• Other related duties as assigned.
