Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic office and patient care procedures.
• Medical terminology and communication skills from 3 months of related experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to use PCs and data terminals to record, verify, and retrieve information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and prepare patients for exams; relay information to resources.
• Verify patient information using computer systems and print daily schedules.
• Prepare rooms with equipment; assist technologists during procedures.
• Assist in portable X-ray rounds and positioning of patients as directed.
• Assist patients with bathroom needs or getting comfortable and monitor delays.
