Job summary

Northside Hospital in Acworth, GA is seeking a Director to lead the Nuclear Medicine/Radiology department, directing daily operations, staffing, budgeting, and ensuring patient care standards.

You will collaborate with physicians, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality improvement initiatives; a minimum of three years' leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, accredited ultrasonography program, accredited radiologic technology program or accredited MRI technology program.
• Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board; OR Registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the ARRT; or Registered by the ARRT in MRI/CT; OR ARDMS; OR ARRT in MRI or AMRIT.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates the daily activities of assigned department including budget, personnel, patient care, and regulatory compliance.
• Acts as a liaison between their assigned department and the referring physician's offices.

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, accredited ultrasonography program, accredited radiologic technology program or accredited MRI technology program.
2. Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board; OR Registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT); or Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); OR Registration as a MRI Technologist by ARRT or AMRIT; or Registration as a CT Technologist by ARRT.
3. Three (3) or more years of clinical experience.
4. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

1. One (1) year of supervisory experience.
