Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a qualified nuclear medicine/radiology technologist to oversee daily department activities, ensuring patient care and regulatory compliance. The role requires multi-modality certification and a minimum of three years of clinical experience.

BSL certification is essential; supervisory experience is preferred. Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with no weekend or on-call requirements, contributing to a stable schedule.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited nuclear medicine, ultrasonography, radiologic technology or MRI program.
• Certified by NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or ARDMS; MRI/AMRIT; CT/Tec technologist ARRT; Radiologic Technologist ARRT; Mammography ARRT.
• Three years of clinical experience.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Preferred: one year supervisory experience.

• Directs and coordinates daily department activities including budget, personnel, patient care, and regulatory compliance.
• Serves as liaison between the department and referring physician offices.

Responsibilities

Directs and coordinates the daily activities of assigned department including budget, personnel, patient care, and regulatory compliance. Acts as a liaison between their assigned department and the referring physician’s offices.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

Must be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, accredited ultrasonography program, accredited radiologic technology program or accredited MRI technology program.

• Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board;
• OR Registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT);
• OR Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS);
• OR Registration as a MRI Technologist by ARRT or AMRIT;
• OR Registration as a CT Technologist by ARRT;
• OR Registration as a Radiologic Technologist by ARRT;
• OR Registration as a Mammography Technologist by ARRT.

Three (3) years of clinical experience

Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

One (1) year of supervisory experience.
