Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist for Cardiology Services. The role directs daily department operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and collaborates with physicians to deliver high-quality imaging across patient ages.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nuclear medicine program, NMTCB/ARRT/ARDMS/MRI/CT registration, 3+ years of clinical experience, and BLS certification. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited nuclear medicine technology program or equivalent.
• Certified by NMTCB or ARRT/ARDMS OR MRI/CT registration.
• Three or more years of clinical experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates daily department activities including budget, personnel, patient care, and regulatory compliance.
• Acts as liaison between the department and referring physician offices.
• Works with neonate through geriatric patients; nuclear medicine supervision for Cardiology Services.
• Serves adult and geriatric patients within Cardiology Services as supervisor.

Responsibilities

Directs and coordinates the daily activities of assigned department including budget, personnel, patient care, and regulatory compliance. Acts as a liaison between their assigned department and the referring physician's offices. May work with neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. In Cardiology Services, the Nuclear Medicine supervisor serves adult and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:1.)Must be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, accreditedultrasonography program, accredited radiologic technology program or accredited MRI technology program.

2.)Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board; OR Registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT); or Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); OR Registration as a MRI Technologist by ARRT or AMRIT; or Registration as a CT Technologist by ARRT.

3.)Three (3) or more years of clinical experience.

4.)Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
