Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to direct and coordinate daily department activities, including patient care, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires certification in NMT or ARRT/ARDMS, 3+ years of clinical experience, and BLS accreditation. You will collaborate with physicians and support staff to maintain high-quality imaging services.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nuclear medicine, ultrasonography, radiologic, or MRI program.
• Certification or registration with NMT-CB/ARRT/ARDMS/AMRIT/CT tech accred.
• Three or more years of clinical experience.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Directs and coordinates the daily activities of assigned department including budget, personnel, patient care, and regulatory compliance. Acts as a liaison between their assigned department and the referring physician’s offices.

Qualifications

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, accredited ultrasonography program, accredited radiologic technology program or accredited MRI technology program.

2. Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board; OR Registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT); or Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); OR Registration as a MRI Technologist by ARRT or AMRIT; or Registration as a CT Technologist by ARRT.

3. Three (3) or more years of clinical experience.

4. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED:

1. One (1) year of supervisory experience.
