Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an experienced professional to direct and coordinate daily operations within a busy department, including budgeting, staffing, patient care, and regulatory compliance. The role also serves as a liaison with referring physician offices.

Required: graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine, ultrasonography, radiologic, or MRI program; board certification (NMTCB) or ARRT/ARDMS/AMRIT registrations; at least three years of clinical experience; and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nuclear medicine, ultrasonography, radiologic technology, or MRI program.
• Certified by NMTCB or ARRT/ARDMS/AMRIT as applicable.
• Three or more years of clinical experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates daily department activities including budget, personnel, patient care, and regulatory compliance.
• Acts as liaison between the department and referring physician offices.

Responsibilities

Directs and coordinates the daily activities of assigned department including budget, personnel, patient care, and regulatory compliance. Acts as a liaison between their assigned department and the referring physician’s offices.

Qualifications

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, accredited ultrasonography program, accredited radiologic technology program or accredited MRI technology program.

2. Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board; OR Registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT); or Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); OR Registration as a MRI Technologist by ARRT or AMRIT; or Registration as a CT Technologist by ARRT.

3. Three (3) or more years of clinical experience.

4. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED:

1. One (1) year of supervisory experience.
