Job summary

Effingham Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Director of Radiology to provide strategic and operational leadership for Radiology Services across the hospital, the Imaging Center in Rincon, and Open MRI.

You will oversee planning, staffing, fiscal management, and high-quality imaging delivery while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role requires leadership, collaboration with medical staff, and ongoing pursuit of best practices and current imaging technology to improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT registration and BLS/CPR within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum five years hospital radiology experience with patient care.
• Three years of clinical management or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily Imaging Department operations to ensure safe, high-quality imaging services.
• Develop and monitor departmental goals, policies, and job descriptions.
• Coordinate imaging services with other departments to support continuity of care.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, accreditation standards, and safety practices.
• Lead staff development, scheduling, and performance feedback.
