Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years of job-related experience
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, team building ability, organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Five years' experience in a leadership or management position

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers through subordinate supervisory personnel the effective management and delivery of diagnostic radiology procedures in accordance with standards.
• Develops long and short-range goals and objectives with supervisory staff, radiologists, and hospital administration.
• Develops capital expense and salary operating budget and monitors compliance and variance.
• Oversees development of department in-service training programs and quality improvement efforts within radiology.
• Maintains oversight of the Radiologic Technology program and coordinates instructors and documentation.
• Maintains cooperative working relationships with hospital personnel and physicians to resolve problems and plan for the future.
• Prepares or directs preparation of periodic and special analysis and reports for management.
