Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Radiology scheduling experience is desirable.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology is desirable.
• Computer and data entry experience is desirable.
• Working knowledge of health insurance and government programs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Schedule exams accurately on dates and times convenient to the patient.
• Handle incoming scheduling calls and maintain smooth operation of the scheduling queue.
• Provide information regarding tests, clinic locations, preps and services.
• Orient new personnel and assist in their transition to the work environment.
• Provide backup assistance to other associates in the department as needed.
