South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers (STRIC) seeks a Scheduler to manage incoming scheduling calls, coordinate exams, and maintain strong relationships with patients and STRIC sites in San Antonio, TX. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and customer service in a fast-paced radiology environment.

The Scheduler will handle demographics, insurance info, and appointment logistics while adhering to safety policies and contributing to team operations.

Qualifications

• Interviews patients for demographics and insurance to start scheduling.
• Schedules exams on dates convenient for the patient or representative.
• Processes STAT and URGENT requests and notifies appropriate departments.
• Provides information about tests, clinic locations, preps, and STRIC locations.
• Ensures safety policies are followed and uses required safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients or representatives to collect demographic and insurance information.
• Schedules diagnostic studies accurately for patient convenience.
• Handles STAT/URGENT requests immediately and escalates as needed.
• Provides test/location/prep information and directions to STRIC locations.
• Audits scheduling processes and supports the department as needed.
• Promotes STRIC mission and demonstrates exceptional customer service.
