South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers (STRIC) is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to support patient and physician registration for procedures, manage scheduling, and handle clerical duties in a fast-paced imaging center in San Antonio, TX.

The role emphasizes professional telephone etiquette, accurate appointment scheduling, and maintaining patient confidentiality while supporting the imaging workflow and revenue cycle.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Training and competencies as defined by facility.
• Preferred: RIS, Radiology Medical Records Training.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them in person or by telephone and ensuring treatment information is available.
• Schedules radiology procedures accurately and communicates schedule changes to staff.
• Maintains patient accounts with demographics and financial information, ensuring confidentiality and billing compliance.
• Coordinates patient flow and monitors schedule status to minimize delays; communicates with scheduling staff throughout the day.
• Handles printing requests and retrieves outside films as needed per STRIC policy.
