Responsibilities

• Checks in and checks out patients following Scheduling/Registration guidelines.
• Obtain and verify guarantor information to keep patient records up-to-date.
• Schedule and register patients within clinic guidelines and medical appropriateness.
• Ensure follow-up appointments and testing are coordinated at check-out.
• Collect necessary information to schedule and register appointments.
• Identify and communicate scheduling changes as needed.
• Notify staff of scheduling changes due to cancellations in a timely fashion.
• Respond to patient and staff needs and complaints within patient care responsibilities.
