Job summary

The successful candidate will uphold scheduling guidelines within the radiology department. Responsibilities include handling calls promptly, updating insurance data in RisLinq and Docuware, and coordinating with referrers.

Qualifications

• Minimum Years of Experience Required: 2 years.
• Modality Experience Required: Radiology.
• Certifications Required: N/A.

Responsibilities

• Schedules customers in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner.
• Collects all pertinent insurance information and obtains authorizations.
• Provides patients with preparation information, instructions and directions.
• Verifies insurance and updates RisLinq and Docuware as needed.
• Answers Call Center calls within four rings and handles messages.
• Schedules fax referrals within 48 hours of receipt.
• Assists with photocopying, typing, receptionist duties and medical records calls.
• Maintains office supplies and keeps the work area neat.
