Job summary

Intermountain Health Sevier Valley Hospital in Richfield, Utah, seeks an Imaging Scheduler to prioritize and schedule patient examinations and provide prep instructions. The role also handles phone calls and directs inquiries.

This PRN, non-guaranteed hour position operates Mon-Fri 7:30am-6:00pm with no weekends or holidays. You will coordinate with radiology staff and physicians, manage multiple exams, and ensure timely communication and patient care.

Qualifications

• Office experience with data entry and computer use.
• Customer service experience required.
• Medical terminology or training preferred.
• Radiology experience preferred.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for examinations and provide exam prep instructions.
• Coordinate emergency/add-on exams with staff and radiologists.
• Prioritize patient exams and coordinate multiple exams.
• Provide information on exam content, pre-exam instructions, and timetables.
• Act as liaison between physician offices and department regarding preps, medical necessity, information, and issues.
• Answer calls and route to appropriate personnel.
