Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months medical records office experience.
• Experience with EMR and PACS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate STAT and designated patient findings to providers and nursing staff.
• Document communications in the EMR via STAT, Fax, and Critical Finding lists.
• Handle Hold & Call instructions and transfer patients per provider guidance.
• Collaborate with radiologists, care teams, and technologists to maintain workflow.
• Monitor the PACS worklist to ensure in-house radiologist cases are prioritized.
• Provide primary phone support for radiologists contacting physicians and external sites.
• Proficient in EMR, PACS, and electronic communications; ensure transfers are correct.
• Assist with File room duties and deliver records within the hospital.
• Support tumor board presentations and daily QC checks on mammography workstations.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope.
