Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Program Manager to lead planning and implementation for Northwestern Memorial HealthCare projects. You will develop work plans, metrics and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while coordinating internal and external resources with managers, directors, and clinicians.

You will manage budgets, communicate status, and build strong relationships with clients and team members, driving projects to successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in related field.
• 5–8 years of project management or equivalent experience.
• Strong MS Office and MS Project proficiency.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relations skills.
• MBA or MHA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project budgets, resources, and reporting.
• Apply standard PM methodologies across project lifecycles.
• Use PM tools for planning, procurement, and budgeting.
• Coordinate requirements analysis, design, and rollout strategies.
• Lead day-to-day project operations and risk mitigation.
• Prepare deliverables for leadership approval and maintain docs.
• Communicate status with sponsors and vendor partners.
• Build productive relationships with clients and team members.
• Create and adjust work plans to meet changing needs.
