Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Obtain or verify insurance and patient information, collect signatures, and ensure documentation.
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees.
• Answer and transfer incoming phone calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments, confirm with patients and notify staff of changes.
• Provide directions and orientation for prep and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient information and property and comply with PHI/privacy rules.
• Safeguard on-site medications per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
