Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information, collect signatures, and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees.
• Answer and transfer incoming phone calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Provide patient orientations for preparatory and safety protocols; direct to facilities as needed.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care.
• Protect patient health information and safeguard on-site medications per policy.
• Respect company property and patient financial information in person and online.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers, and support patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
