Scripps Clinic Carmel Valley is seeking a Patient Service Representative in the Imaging/Radiology area. This full-time role (80 hours per pay period) involves front-line patient interactions, accurate registration, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and payment collection to support a positive patient experience.

You will handle check-in/check-out, referrals, and day-end reporting with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and compassionate service in a busy radiology setting.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate proficiency with computer applications.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities; able to solve problems.

Responsabilités

• Greet and register patients; assign MRN and schedule appointments.
• Respond to billing and payment inquiries.
• Manage check-in/check-out with ID verification and demographics, collect forms and finalize day-end reporting.
• Enter insurance information and referrals/authorizations.
• Provide proactive customer service and involve leadership when needed.
• Assist with end-of-visit processes and payment reconciliation.
