Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in related field or six months of Front of House experience.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Associate Degree (Healthcare or Business) preferred or 2 years of customer service in ambulatory healthcare.
• Certification in HFMA, NAHAM, or HBI Patient Access is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and guests in a friendly manner according to workflow.
• Provides navigation assistance to patients and guests.
• Uses EHR to perform patient check-in, registrations, scheduling, and check-out.
• Verifies insurance accuracy through real time eligibility and benefits.
• Handles cash, credit/debit transactions, and daily reconciliation.
• Promotes organization and clinic efficiency.
• Schedule support for contracted providers and specialties.
• Assist providers with urgent requests and time-sensitive tasks.
• Manage patient forms and encounters for clinical team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
