Qualifications

• One year of clerical, scheduling, and/or customer service experience.
• Degree in a healthcare field.
• Experience scheduling radiologic appointments for CT, Ultrasound, DEXA, and General Diagnostics.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory care setting.
• One year of Epic electronic medical record system experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule radiology appointments and verify insurance for patients.
• Perform clerical and receptionist duties and maintain patient records.
• Serve as a resource to medical staff regarding hospital protocols.
• Act as liaison between staff, patients, families, and care providers and between units and other departments.
