The role focuses on operational oversight, quality improvement, workforce management, patient experience initiatives, regulatory readiness, and staff development while serving as a clinical and operational resource to department staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily imaging operations to ensure safe, efficient, patient-centered services.
• Serves as clinical, technical, and operational resource to technologists, staff, physicians, and teams.
• Coordinates staffing, scheduling, throughput, and service recovery across shifts and modalities.
• Participates in recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, retention, and recognition of department personnel.
• Coaches staff, conducts evaluations, and supports competency validation and corrective actions.
• Promotes engagement and professional development through education and succession planning.
