Job summary

Lexington Health in West Columbia, SC, seeks an experienced MRI & CT department supervisor to lead imaging quality and safety initiatives. You will oversee MRI/CT operations, maintain QA, and ensure regulatory readiness under the radiologist's direction.

The role requires ARRT certification (MR/CT), CPR, and 5+ years in MRI/CT, with strong leadership and staff scheduling skills to maintain efficient, compliant imaging services.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Associate Degree in health related field; Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum Years of Experience: 5 Years of successful work experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computed Tomography or combination of both modalities.
• Required Certifications/Licensure: ARRT MR or CT; CPR certification (or within 90 days);
• Required Training: Proficiency in venipuncture.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and supervision of the MRI & CT departments for high‑quality images and patient care.
• Maintains ACR accreditation on all MRI & CT scanners and assists with QA testing.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements (ACR, DNV, DHEC) and readiness for inspections.
• Creates and manages staffing schedules, including vacations and time off requests.
• Performs and documents performance evaluations and disciplinary counseling as needed.
• Monitors department equipment, records repairs and service response times, and maintains Kronos time tracking.
