Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist Assistant to support the Imaging team at St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT.

This PRN/As-needed role focuses on preparing patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety, and assisting technologists in various diagnostic procedures. The position emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• IV insertion proficiency may be required at site.
• Patient care or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safe and effective delivery of patient care under the supervision of the technologist.
• Assist in preparing the patient for the exam and ensure comfort and safety.
• Assist patients on/off procedure tables and to/from procedure rooms.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information to other care providers.
• Inspect transport equipment and report repairs when needed.
• Transport patients to/from the Imaging department ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency and skill pass off.
