Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective patient care under technologist supervision.
• Prepare patients for the exam and attend to their needs.
• Assist patients on/off procedure tables and to/from rooms.
• Oversee coordination of patient care.
• Communicate pertinent information to other patient care providers.
• Inspect transport equipment and report repairs.
• Transport patients to/from Imaging department ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency.
