Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Caregiver or patient-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe, effective patient care under technologist supervision.
• Assists in preparing the patient for the exam and is sensitive to their needs.
• Assists patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Oversees coordination of patient care and communicates with other providers after procedures.
• Routinely inspects transport equipment and notifies if repair is needed.
• Transports patients to/from Imaging and ensures their comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency.
