Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe and effective patient care under the technologist's direction.
• Assists in preparing the patient for the exam and supports comfort and safety.
• Assists patients on/off procedure tables and to/from procedure rooms.
• Oversees coordination of patient care and communicates with other providers.
• Transports patients to and from the Imaging department, ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency and skill pass-off.
