Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology and MRI Tech Aide to support imaging technologists in performing diagnostic procedures. You will help prepare patients, ensure their comfort and safety, and assist with transporting patients to and from the Imaging department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for caregivers.
• IV insertion proficiency as site requires.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Assists in preparing the patient for the exam and is sensitive to their needs.
• Assists patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Oversees coordination of patient care and communicates pertinent information to other care providers.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other providers following procedure.
• Transports patients to and from the Imaging department, ensuring comfort and safety.
