Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of prior experience
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• All legally/reasonably expected certifications needed for function and level

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume inbound scheduling via phone, SMS, web, and fax
• Schedule appointments across Atlantic Health System locations
• Verify insurance and collect pre-service financial responsibility
• Complete patient demographic/insurance data and navigate Epic work queues
• Coordinate with patients and physicians to obtain missing information and status updates
• Promote patient portal usage and assist registration
• Escalate issues to supervisor and ensure timely follow-up with payers
